BIO
Mathias Retamal is a talented and versatile actor, recognized for his captivating presence and ability to bring a wide range of characters to life. Originally from Chile, he grew up in Montreal in a multilingual environment, fluently speaking Spanish, French, and English, which infuses his performances with unique cultural authenticity.
Since his debut in 2013 with a role in The Tomorrow People on CW, Mathias has built an impressive career, appearing in popular series such as Firefly Lane, The Flash, Arrow, The Man in the High Castle, Another Life, and Plan B. He has also starred in films like The Source of Shadows and Funhouse, as well as video games such as FIFA 19 (Maximilian) and Resident Evil 4. His training at the Vancouver Acting School (2012) and his experience in film production provide him with a deep understanding of the industry, enriching his approach as an actor.
In 2020, Mathias continued to advance his career by taking on various projects in Montreal. Notably, he played a significant role in the series Faits divers, where he showcased his ability to portray complex characters in a dramatic context. This project, among others, reflects his commitment to diversifying his roles and strengthening his presence in the Quebec industry.
Passionate about cinema, Mathias draws inspiration from classics like Scarface and Casino. Off-screen, his active lifestyle and creative curiosity fuel his artistic energy.
